Roland Berger Strategy Consultants appoints another Partner to its Swiss office
Roland Berger Strategy Consultants has appointed Dr. Lukas D. Weber a new Partner, bringing the number of Partners in the Swiss office to nine. The others are Joost Geginat, Daniel Gresch, Matthias Hanke, Dr. Carsten B. Henkel (Managing Partner), Björn Maul, Beatrix Morath, Olaf Toepfer and Dr. Martin C. Wittig (Member of the Global Executive Committee).
Dr. Lukas D. Weber (1967) is a Swiss national and graduate of the University of St. Gallen, where he also completed his Ph.D.
He started his consulting career early on at McKinsey & Company in Zurich as an Associate, the Engagement Manager and later Associate Principal.
In 2001 he joined the insurance company Zurich, initially in charge of the direct insurance and banking business as a member of the management of Zurich Switzerland. He was later appointed CEO of Zurich Life Switzerland.
In 2007 Weber joined UBS in Zurich, first as Head of Global Wealth Management Solutions, then as Regional Head of UBS in Northern Switzerland and finally as the manager of institutional customer care in Switzerland.
His consulting specialties are life & non-life insurance, health insurance, reinsurance, retail & private banking, asset management and corporate finance.
